Attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder is a class of unusual behaviors. It can also be called attention deficit disorder. It is commonly observed in children and adults. In this condition, people have trouble paying attention in school, at home, or at work. They cannot concentrate even when they try to. They find it hard to pay attention to. Children are more active or impulsive than what is typical for their age. All these behaviors induce problems in friendships, learning, and other activities. Children who have ADHD are seen as being difficult or as having behavioral problems.

This condition may run in families. Hyperactivity is more common in boys. However, symptoms of inattention deficiency are more common in girls.
Inductive Factors
ADHD has causes, which are not been fully understood yet. Researchers are exploring genetic linkage. Certain areas of the brain are found to be comparatively smaller in children with ADHD. In some cases, chemical changes in the brain also detected.

The primary factor of attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder such as inattention and hyperactive-impulsive behavior. The symptoms initiate before age 12, and in some children, they are noticeable at the age of 3 years.

Major symptoms are hyperactive and impulsive. Children who show a pattern of hyperactive and impulsive symptoms as follows:
Fret with or tap hands or feet, or squirm in the seat
Difficulty in staying seated for a long time
Be on the go, in constant motion
Run around or climb inappropriately
Trouble while playing or doing an activity quietly
Interrupting the questioner and blurt out answers
Difficulty in waiting for their turn
Interrupt conversations, games or activities
Combined: The most common type of ADHD observed in children, which is a mix of inattentive symptoms and hyperactive-impulsive symptoms.
